Well, hopefully the Cubans will continue to open up to the US and we can help each other out. Ethanol is NOT a good fuel, especially in older engine/fuel systems. We need to develop algae-based bio-fuels instead.

Really should depend on the BTU output compared to 100% gasoline to see if it IS A VIABLE ALTERNATIVE.

I have to wonder why Cuba doesn't just export sugarcane to someone who can import cars to them. All those relics from the 50's they continue to repair have to use a lot of gas.
